A very good example of a mid to late 19th century Northern European kitchen cabinet, country look.
Made in traditional style with two single panelled doors, original hand blown glass in the top section, external hinges, chunky pillar supports and a shapely cornice.
Very well built, solid throughout , but with plenty of wear and character.
Shelved top and base, a bank of four moulded drawers separating the cupboard space.
Pewter escutcheons,locks and keys are in working order.
The outside is painted in an elegant hue of original old White, with a fair amount of distressing, the Scandinavian pine shining through.
The inside of the glazed cupboard shows the original very worn Scandinavian pale blue.
No structural damage, replacement front and back feet. Some stains and minimal amounts of old wood worm holes as expected in an old piece like this.
A nicely sized decorative dresser ready to use.
Splits in two parts for transportation.
