Originating from a local cotton mill, dating back to late Victorian times, these shelves have been a great find.The lovely thick period pine, cleaned and waxed, gives the pigeon holes a most tactile and irresistible look, most people need to stoke the wood!!
Added bonus are the original number stencils, to be found on the front sections and remnants of original old paint.
But, not only handsome, also useful, in every which way one might to place them, upright or horizontally, good for all sorts of storage or display.
Most original and genuine cubbies we've had for a while!
No worm or structural damage, just good old fashioned industrial wear and tear.
