small victorian pine cabinet in original decorative paint 1870

Item Ref

A superb little Victorian pine cabinet, found in totally unadulterated conditon, as it was first made.
A clear varnish on top of clean Victorian pine, decorated with the traditional black line stencil.
It would certainly fit into a stripped pine context or a decorative one.
The cabinet is in time worn condition, the exterior finish is in an excellent, but charmingly faded state.
No splits, no cracks, no worm, no repairs or replacements.
A fine black porcelain knob in brass setting, a dainty splash back, finely moulded top and rounded construction, all quality attributes, down to the vented back board.
A pretty Victorian piece, un-spoilt and having been looked after since it was made.
A special little piece!
