Description

A very nicely preserved vintage carpenter's wood working bench as often found in school workshops and joinery shops in the 50ies and 60ies.
This model is solid to say the least, heavy and chunky with a thick pine work top, in 3 sections, well worked and aged.
The protective overlap houses two steel and timber wood working vices, brand Parkinson's Popular 44, both in good working order, but could be removed.
Each short end has a recess, one covered by two doors, the other open for storage.
The bench has obviously been used, with plenty of signs of wear and tear and aged character. but could be restored to become a counter, a kitchen island or a retail display unit.
As is, it has a perfect vintage look, clean to use or restore.
