| ANTIQUE HABERDASHERY BASE / DRESSER WITH DRAWERS / WORK ISLAND |
A more than substantial 9 drawer haberdashery unit, found in the cutting department of a clothes manufacturer.
Originally used to cut pieces of cloth to size for sewing, the drawers holding all manners of equipment and textiles.
The top was covered with a canvas type cloth which could not be saved, but the pine top below is very useable, left in a scrubbed finish.
All 9 drawers have original label holders, iron cup handles and run well, considering their size.
The step back plinth is handy, so it could be used as an island.
The piece is painted in a blue /grey industrial style colour to reflect the heritage. ( Crown Historic Palladian14 )Best reproduction of the colour is photo 2.

| ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL CAST IRON AND PINE TABLE |
An unusual and unique industrial table, rescued from a 200 year old foundry in Yorkshire.
This table has most likely been adapted in the foundry from unused spinning machine parts made in the factory and then used as a tooling bench thereafter.
The characterful and rugged 2 3/4 inch thick three planked top is surely the original one.
The sturdy cast iron legs / ends are set in 16" from the end of the table and 43" apart from each other, braced by 1 1/2" steel bars. A middle brace is set 7 1/2" from the floor and the curved bars have a 9" radius.
The base has been cleaned but left in original unpainted condition. The pine top has been cleaned and waxed.
A useful and unique table , a one of a kind piece.

| ANTIQUE PINE BANK OF DRAWERS / WORK BENCH |
A massively chunky Victorian chest of drawers or side board, found in a local cotton mill , where it was used in the workshops.
Constructed to survive heavy use, with strong dove tailed drawers , made from thicker than normal pine and a frame to match.
The two planked top must have been nearly 3" thick, but has been worn to various thicknesses.
In fact all parts of the chest are smoothed to a very tactile undulating surface which gives the piece it's unique charm.
The back which is part of the frame construction holds a very endearing wonky shelf.
All drawer handles are intact and the drawers run smoothly.
Surely another one like this cannot be found easily!

A fantastically hunky pine two door cabinet originating from a wool mill in Yorkshire.
The massive 2 1/2" inch thick pine top makes this piece ideal for use as a chopping block or kitchen island, providing ample storage below.
The cabinet is constructed from 4" tongue and "V" groove pine boards, the 2 planked and braced doors hung with steel T-strap hinges either side of a division. A shelf is fitted to the inside.
The top has a 8 inch overhang on the back which allows seating to be added , maybe in the shape of mill stools?

Locally sourced in a Yorkshire cotton mill, this industrial six leg cloth inspection table has been carefully renovated to gain a new lease of life without destroying the signs of time.

: planked bleached 1 1/2" thick top ( the top is very worn and has been sanded and bleached)

It is heavy , but the top is attached by original metal brackets, so can be removed for transport and access.
A table suitable for many situations, as a kitchen preparation island, a general work table or server / side table.
Also a fine display item for the retail sector.

| ANTIQUE RUSTIC / MILL COFFEE TABLE |
Dating from around 1900 , found in a local mill, this massively chunky table has bags of character .
It's former use is unknown, it has an extremely worn top and seen plenty of action.
Made from thick yellow pine, the planked top is 2 3/4" (70mm) thick , fixed to the base with ancient steel bolts, round capped (see picture 3).
The base is constructed from 3" by 4" cross section pine, braced with mild steel bands.
The nuts and bolts are visible underneath the frame ( see picture 5).
A wonderful piece of industrial heritage, brought to good use as a coffee table.

| VICTORIAN PINE PIGEON HOLE SHELF / CUBBY HOLE 1880 |
Originating from the now demolished Leeds main Post Office building, dating back to mid Victorian times, these shelves have been a great find.
The lovely thick period pine, cleaned and waxed, gives the pigeon holes a most tactile and irresistible look, most peolpe need to stoke the wood!!
Added bonus are the original number stencils, to be found on most bottom sections. See photos 6 to 9.
But, not only handsome, also useful, in every which way one might to place them, upright or horizontally, good for all sorts of storage or display.
Best ones we've had for a while!
No worm or structural damage, just good old fashioned wear and tear.

Another fine example of northern English industrial heritage in furniture form.
Used in the many local shoe factories and mills around the end of the 19th century, these trolleys were robustly made( this one is elm, pine and beech) and were built to last, no pun intended.
We have added solid mill shelves where there were slats before to give more storage space. Other than that all parts are original.
One of the very nice features are the 360-turn- degree cast iron double wheels.
The trolley has been stripped and hand waxed and is ready for use.

A rather chunky preparation table, sturdy iron frame on adjustable legs, with a deep hung drawer,a thick pine top and shelf below.
Unpretentious and quite industrial in origin,with a quirky 'Greens' cast iron cup handle, clean and good to use.
The base is painted in a mid olive green, the top and shelf wax polished.
Small pads on each leg allow height adjustment.
A piece for a small kitchen or scullery, alternatively it will work as a side table or lamp table.

A very large Yorkshire mill basket or skip, found in a recently cleared mill.
In good sturdy condition with signs of wear and tear, but no serious damage.
Marked with large letters and numbers and shaped in a tapered form for easy access to contents.Two substantial carrying handles, one either side.
Great as a log / toy basket or display item in retail.
